Today we sit down with Dr. Lisa Larkin for part one of a 2-part interview.

Dr. Larkin was recently named “Changemaker In Medicine” by Medical Economics, a distinction given to one of only seven physicians by the national publication AND the 2019 Health Care Hero Entrepreneur by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Dr. Lisa Larkin is Founder and CEO of Ms.Medicine, a health care business model dedicated to advancing evidence-based women’s health. She is also owner and President of Lisa Larkin, MD and Associates, an independent, women’s primary and multispecialty Direct Primary Care and Concierge Care practice.

Dr. Larkin is the Founder and Executive Director of the Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium, a non-profit designed to improve the sexual health and wellness of individuals. She serves as Director of Women’s Corporate Health for TriHealth and formerly served as Associate Professor and Division Director of Midlife Women’s Health and Primary Care at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and as the Director of the UC Health Women’s Center. Known as an entrepreneur and health care “disrupter,” Dr. Larkin is the Founder and CEO of two women’s health-focused business initiatives designed to improve the care of women.

In addition to Ms. Medicine, LLC, she founded MyBreastRiskIQ, LLC, a digital women’s health start-up whose mission is to educate and inform women about their individual breast cancer risk and breast cancer prevention strategies.
