Is ambition always a good idea? Even if it leads to 'success' (whatever that means to the individual), does that necessarily guarantee happiness, joy, fulfilment? Obviously, it can be an asset in certain contexts and situations but what are the potential psychological, emotional and interpersonal 'costs' of ambition? Seems to me that some super ambitious people might not be the most balanced (or healthy) cats going around. It also seems that if 'more' is always the goal then 'enough' is not a possibility. Maybe the challenge is to balance our ambition with our gratitude for what we have and where we are, right now?
