Emmett Corrigan was a father of four with another child on the way when he began an extramarital affair with Candy, a paralegal in his employment. Both spouses of Emmett and Candy were aware of their partner’s increasing distance, and grew upset. One night, tensions were high, and Candy’s husband had had enough of his wife’s infidelity.
