NETSCOUT recently published its latest Threat Intelligence Report. Among its findings, threat actors launched approximately 5.4 million DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks in the first half of 2021, setting the world on track to see a new record for calendar 2021. The global connectivity supply chain is increasingly under attack from both DDoS and ransomware events. Is there a silver lining to this cloud?
