Today’s guest is Dan Millman. He’s a former world champion athlete, university coach, martial arts instructor, and college professor.
After an intensive, twenty-year spiritual quest, Dan’s teaching found its form as the Peaceful Warrior’s Way. He’s written eighteen books, including the best-seller Way of the Peaceful Warrior, which had a big impact on my life years ago. He’s back with a memoir called Peaceful Heart, Warrior Spirit: The True Story of My Spiritual Quest which is all about Dan’s search for meaning in the modern world. That’s something I believe each and everyone of us can relate to.
In this episode we discuss the interesting approach to overcoming the fear of other people’s opinions, how Dan’s definition of a purposeful life has become clearer over 75 years and what gets in the way of most of living meaningful life, how to reshape your negative beliefs and build up your self worth, how to develop what Dan calls a peaceful heart and a warrior spirit and so much more!
