We’ve all fallen victim to believing that reaching a stage in our lives or accomplishing that one goal will make us happier. The ideology of putting our goals on a pedestal and eventually becoming disappointed was coined “The Arrival Fallacy” by psychologist Dr. Tal Ben Shahar. Here, I explore the concept of the arrival fallacy and how we can enjoy the process, instead of focusing on the end goals.
