Patience and strategy: What are the different markets for investors?

Arjun explains the different market cycles, dividing them into early adopter, hotspot, and second wind markets.

He said early adopter markets, like Brisbane in 2018, offer great opportunities but require patience, while hotspot markets experience rapid growth but come with high competition, and second wind markets, such as Brisbane and Newcastle, show signs of recovery after stagnation.

Arjun also noted that the current market sentiment has led to increased investor inquiries, urging investors to focus on their circumstances rather than external factors, like interest rates, and to base their portfolios on data-driven strategies and a borderless approach.

The duo emphasises the importance of building a strong, goal-focused team, including accountants, brokers and buyer’s agents, for successful property investing.
