TFP 111: How to Survive and Thrive on the WTA Tour with Alexandra Mueller

On Episode 111 of The Tennis Files Podcast, I spoke with WTA Pro Alexandra Mueller about her rise to the pro tour at a young age, singles and doubles tips to improve your game, the ups and downs of life on the tour, and more!

Alex has been ranked as high as 280 in singles and 130 in doubles on the tour, and her current doubles partner is Sophie Chang, who was a guest of the podcast way back on Episode 15!  I watched both Sophie and Alex play at last year's Citi Open, and you'll learn why "Sophlex" makes such a great team, among many other things, during my chat with Alex.

Alex turned pro at the very young age of 15, yet she has managed to play on tour for another 16+ years and has racked up 7 singles and 21 doubles titles along the way!  I particularly found her advice for how to stay passionate and excited about the game super helpful and inspiring.
