We've all felt overwhelmed before when we have a lot going on at once in our lives. Thoughts like "I'll never get this done" and "I don't have time to do this" get stuck in our minds.


These thoughts create a storm of irritation, frustration, and other emotions, which create the situation of overwhelm. Fortunately, overwhelm isn't something that happens to us—it's a state that we actually create with our thoughts, because our thoughts create our feelings. Even though it can be so unhelpful, we're doing it to ourselves!
