Is the RDA the Benchmark?

Jen, stop using the RDA as the benchmark and agree that good health can be achieved with a variety of macronutrient intakes. I really wish the athlete community would listen to this because some of that might be detrimental if they're getting too much protein. Almost everybody gets enough. We're happy. But let's just stop saying that the RDA is the benchmark. There are lots of ways to eat and eat well.
