I try to preach to my athletes to be as self aware as possible that if they need to titrate one way or the other, more fluid, more sodium just based on how they're feeling. I really, especially in the races with big temperature swings, you can't emphasize this enough: You're going to have to have a reasonable plan formulated around all of these different temperature gradients. It's so wildly different and we get caught work creatures that have it, right?
