The Importance of Perfectionism in ADHD
There may be two manifestations of perfectionism: Adaptive, good, and maladaptive. Maladaptive thoughts are misinterpretations of events that negatively affect us or how we do things. Perfectionism seems to be the most common cognitive distortion seen in ADHD. We're far to be associated with depression and avoidant coping styles.
