Are Children More Predisposed to Boredom Than Adults?
Boredom is one of those things that's universally relatable, right? We all have felt a time when we feel bored, and then we have to kind of navigate that feeling. And are children and tenages more prone to boredom than adults? Yes. There is kind of a pique developmental time where people experience boredom more so than other life stages. Oftentimes boredom is by not engaging with your environment in a way that's satisfying to you. Once you have more freedom, you can do other things to resolve your feelings. Boredom does also happen in little kids - i have a five-year-old who would just say 'that's boring'
