How to Know if You Have Trauma
I discourage people from trauma hunting or like hunting for sexual abuse memories. I ask clients when they're wrestling with, you know, is this circumstantial? Is this due to my trauma? How old and familiar is this feeling? And then we can work with that and often trace it back to its origin or its era. It seems really useful for me that people are actually having these conversations. You know, anything that rises into social consciousness, it's great that it is there and gets people talking about it. But the benefits outweigh some of the negative outcomes.
