The pathogenicis of thrasarosis is one that's predicated on the process by which the lipa proteins get through the endafhilial space between sells. The size of the l d l particle really doesn't determine the ease with which it gets through the sell or not, or between the sells. What's much more important is because most of the l D L that get ts into the sub in a the space gets right back out and doesn't cause any trouble. Where the trouble comes is when they get retained and when they get oxidized and when they kick off an inflammatory response.
