A 16 week program of moderate intensity arobic physical activity plus hygiene education is effective in improving self reported sleep quality, mood and quality of life in older adults with chronic insomnia. Even after two months, the effects of exercise on sleep, were minimal. There is a clear connection between ex cise and sleep, but we're going to need to give it time.
