A hack that a lot of people find helpful is just acting as if I'm the sort of person who does that thing. And eventually, you know, you don't need to act anymore because you are confident. In my third year of university, that was when I peaked in terms of exam performance and in terms of really actively studying every single day in exam term for like 14 hours a day. It's because I had a plan to the point that I didn't need to think about what to do.
