Joe's Resistance starch is actually, I have not found, in my experiments, that fiber itself will increase butyrate in a noticeable way. But if you get enough of probiotics in your system and they're surviving okay - Clustridium and Etericum survives pretty well -- then you can build up the capacity to metabolize all that cyber more quickly and more efficiently.
