Is There a Government Scheme to Support Young Readers in Schools?
There are national programs that attempt to get local people kind of get them CRB checked and say, okay, brilliant, let's get you into schools to support young readers. I mean, it seems to me like a little bit of low hanging fruit that's potentially out there. There are lots of schools that would be absolutely delighted for the support. If anyone from the government is listening and thinking, I wonder what a larger scale scheme could be to support this? It's perhaps something to look into because some areas have done this sort of thing quite successfully.
