The Archetypes of the Psyche

Think of the archetypes much more adverbally than adjectively. An archetype is a way in which you are anagogically coming to be, not something in you that you possess and reflect upon. So Young argues that all of these, like the psyche as a whole, these archetypes insofar as they are virtual engines of self-organizing processes, are autopoetic. They have a life to them, aLife to them. The archetypes are the way that psyche makes itself as a living organism. That's what I mean.
