Cognitive Analytic Therapy Is Fantastic for That

Cognitive analytic therapy is fantastic for that and I it's really about understanding the cycles that you are in as a child. The way that you responded to people was part of your survival mechanism so it helped you to get through whatever difficult environment that was. As an adult we then go around those same cycles as an adult but in adult relationships the dynamics are different  and suddenly those things that were effective at helping you get through a difficult situation no longer work or actually causing more problems.
