The Relationship Between Mindfulness and Procrastination

So is procrastination as much about avoiding a task as it may be as you're suggesting, be about avoiding a sort of discomfort or avoiding a particular feeling? So talk to me about that piece. That's certainly my theory that I'm working with currently in my thinking about this. And there's some research support to that too. There are other theories about what drives procrastination. But to me the key piece of it is the emotion regulation piece and if we are going to do a task that we don't want to do, or we've been putting off,. That is going to require that we are aware of our emotions and that we can regulate that emotional experience rather than avoid
