The Quality Movement

In 1960s, mid late 1960s, like 1970, this is where I forget their name and sometimes I can't pronounce it. But there's one guy I think his name, a cotto. Anyway, the people who invented quality functional deployment QFD have this idea that we were so successful at improving the quality of the product through a manufacturing process. And he was like, oh, this is broken. We have to fix this. So he invented what became known as the quality movement. He mentored a guy named Edwards Deming, who worked for the United States government during World War II.
