Inventors of the century, even in technology, an extraordinary amount was created by drop outs. The number of people who are outsiders that create novations is amazing. i went to stamford as an undergraduate and they were very proud of john steinbeck because he he won the noba prize in literature but he dropped out. You got the culture never comes from the inside. It never does. And if we create a society in which these powerful insiders make all the decisions, you're going to lose the life blood to create the next generation of talent for beneficial change.
