Is There a Data Interoperability Problem?

Kraft is developing a new version of Markdown for the iPhone and iPad. The app will let users write notes within pages, but that's not possible in Markdown. Kraft has tried to separate storage from application layer so you can use more standard storage approaches. It gives users some flexibility and some agency in terms of how they store and backup their data.
