If you care about the creators that you listen to or you watch online, you can genuinely sway their direction toward good if you are careful and considered with the way that you put things across. If someone ever posts something that I think is stupid and objectionable in the comments, I'll always just reply and say, this channel is not for you. That's all it needs to be. You need to teach your audience. And also from the audience side, there's going to be a lot more audience than creators listening. Because this, again, the A versus B thing, nobody's listening. It's just emotional triggers to just shut down.
