Self compassion is treating yourself well right now and treating yourself the way hat you wouldk if you had a child that you were caring for. I make lunches for my kids, and when i'm making a lunch for them, i think about things like, what is it that they're going to enjoy? And why aren't you thinking about that for yourself? Enjoying food takes time; we've sped everything up with food. We need to give ourselves time to eat without other things going on.
