How to Fix Hip Flexor Tendonitis
The vastest muscles only extend the knee, but the rectus femoris is part of that. If you allow your knees to jump forward at the bottom of the squat, you're putting a bunch of tension on that particular insertion on the pelvis. Believe it's on the anterior inferior iliac spine. And when that gets irritated, you will perceive it as hip flexor tendonitis.
