The Importance of Protein Powders for Athletes

A lot of people forget is that athletes tend to eat a lot of calories. If they needed even 1.5 grams of protein per kilogram body weight and they weighed 70 kilograms, they'd need about 100,. you know, 105 grams of protein. But on 3000 calories, that's only 14% of calories from protein. That relatively easy to achieve on a very nutritious plant based diet without a lot of excess oil and sugar and all of those things.
