I developed a pretty vicious superstition when i was in college, and it was hard to break. And then i saw this incredible video om from benslevski's lab at harvard. He has these rats that press different sequences of of levers and turn dials in order to get a pellet of food. But they'll start introducing behaviors that have nothing to do with the actual lever pressing. So i decide to break it by simply forcing myself to not do it for about a week.
