If we get completely lost in thought, sometimes we may automatically just flip back to the breath. So you could perhaps even slow down the coming back, perhaps going to the whole body and grounding yourself before coming into the focus. And for many people, that is likely to be something outside. It may be the sight of somethingso some visual object. Traditionally, peoplehae focused on an object, a bowl or or something that is are able to hold their gaze and hold some interest. And that's the task. I mean, feel free to use and explore whatever anchors work for you best.
