Can You Be Forgiven?

In hawaii, there is a temple on the coast of the big island called poho nuho. It's said that in the ancient hawaiian culture, it's these big black lava stone walls with some little temple buildings inside. And i remember the first time i went there, i found it very moving. Iwonder, i wonder if this place still works. Could we be and what would it like to build temples of forgiveness instead of the kind of crazy prison system?
