"I was still aiming to 45 maybe on a good day 240 so yeah then I just wanted to feel the pace for a bit longer than just 30 kilometers," he said. "Then I did from 30k or 31k I did a few accelerations for just like 30 seconds but on much faster pace than marathon pace see if I could still bring that up" He added: "From that point on actually then I started to take so I pretty sure this was in three weeks before the marathon and then I was just bringing volume down."
