The next question we're going to address comes in is yesterday I plan to run my long run of eight miles. Due to the relentless heat, I stopped at six and did two miles later in the afternoon when the temperature dropped. My question is, did I lose the benefit of a long run by doing this? So it kind of is a little bit multifaceted. And let me say by if you wanted to look at it like exactly from a physiological purely physiologic perspective then I would say, yes, you probably lost some of the benefits of doing the long run.
