1980s guidelines had said that you know it's about eating mostly minimally processed fiber rich phenolic rich bioactive rich foods like fruits, beans, nuts seeds and whole grains. I don't use the word vegetable oils because it's a misnomer there are no vegetable oils all the oils we have come from nuts, beans, seeds or fruits. Processed red meats poultry eggs butter they're not really health foods in contrast to some people who think they're health foods but they're not the worst.
