Strength Training for Beginners - Strength Based Performance Goals

Starting off with strength based performance goals is one of the best things you can do, not just for your physical health, but your mental health. I think that's where strength training is just it is king above all else from that perspective. If you want to deadlift 1.5 or two times your body weight, great goal. We could also look at improving your mile time and then work on improving that over a course of three months before you test it again. But establishing any of these goals, I think is a really good idea.
