The average adult in the united states gets, you now, somewhat shy of seven hours asleep a night. If you get chronicaly get less than seven hours, that really ratchets up you risk for things like cardiovascular disease and diabedes and even alsheimer's disease. We are chronically sleep depriving the entire population of american high school students who live under this system, which is very bad for their health and their studies.
