The Importance of Metabolism in Hypertrophy
The calcium and my relative D mechanisms that we've outlined there very briefly are literally suppressing mechanical tension. Therefore, they must necessarily be suppressing the hypertrophy stimulus. But metabolite related to T mechanisms, a predominant of the acidosis is that they don't cause that effect. They don't really suppress crossbridge formation, predominantly slow it down. So ultimately, when I'm thinking about T playing out inside a muscle, what we're really saying is that if metaboliterelated to D is predontinating, it's going to permit calcium and relative to essentially being the primary local muscularity mechanism.
