I've talked about many times on this podcast having a crystal clear purpose is a very very important element to staying motivated in the long term particularly for those long-term focused goals so I want this goal because X like you should be able to complete that sentence in a short crisp succinct way. Think about your goals without a timeline connect it to your purpose then from there back up to what are the interim steps and how does 2023 fit into that. Don't forget for those of you that like to train for the half marathon or marathon that it's an important element to include speed at some point during the year on your journey to those half marathon and marathon goals.
