Is Proof of Concept a Good Idea?

A pilot is a minimally configured sort of hands-on experience of the vendors, usually they standbox instance of their solution. It's usually little to no configuration on the implementation process for these POCs. A proof of concept will be shorter and so helpful to really just start taking those tires,. Get some tech buy-in for what's practical in those implementations. But I don't think doing two pilots at once is necessarily a effective use of everybody's time.
