Sternberg Needs an Independent Theory of Failingness

Sternberg needs an independent theory of foolishness. He doesn't think that the common good is the goal of all wise people. That seems anachronistic to me an important way. The theory could clearly be improved by getting clearer about the nature of tacit implicit learning, getting clearer about optimization and relevance realization.
