Hiring Managers - Single Owners

The hiring manager writes a job description. The person who's eventually he can be responsible for the persons success on the team, all the way back to writing the job description and sourcing the candidates. I've observed that in large companies, this often gets broken up among a bunch of different people. And you don't get a strong, coherent, unified vision for what this job is going to be or why it's aw som so i think we can get away with it having a more unified approach.
