Phedra was horrified when she saw a sheriff bragging about keeping one person in jail pre trial for a maran arrest, for seven years. She thought technology at his best, especially sa oftware, creates efficiency and improves it margins. Phedro wasn't reacting to a breakdown or a platform promise. Had done nothing unethical. But the lens through which she saw her business was the lens of human dignity. That lens essentially allowed her to see into the future, a future of helping corrupt and cruel law enforcement agencies. It was not a future she could accept.
