Tesla's Gigafactory

The Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada was where Tesla planned to make its battery and powertrain for the Model 3. Traditional car companies sourced this stuff from suppliers, but that wasn't going to work for Tesla. By the 2016 unveil, the Gigafactory had managed to graduate out of a trailer. It's what enables us to make the Model 3... And it's already operational today.
