Do Not Make People Feel Stupid for What They Believe
Sometimes we just want to let loose. That's all right, and maybe we should squelch that impulse. But sometimes we want to reach people. Knowing that people are defensive about their existing views gives us a clue as to how to be better persuade her. Do not make the other persons feel stupid for what they believe. Ah, so instead, you look to understand or talk to the person about why they believe what they do.
