i remember when i was at business school, we would talk about the five peas and the four seas of marketing. And exactly in torms a half sale have sales fits into that picture. Sales doesn't fit into the picture of price. But their job is to go and make sure that it's where it's supposed to be,. When it's supposedto be, and looks good... So that sale serves marketing.
