Is Cryotherapy Beneficial to Performance?

If it makes me feel good to take cold showers and ice baths, would you say just to crack on with it? Yeah, so one thing I will say in terms of the acute versus chronic argument and the adaptation is that for endurance athletes, it's either no difference or positive. For resistance-trained athletes, that's where we tend to see the adaptation blunting and where we might actually expect that it would be detrimental to long-term performance. So if you enjoy it and you're happy and you've got access, then by all means carry on.
