The Power of Self-Regulation

When you focus on what you can do, then you're going to be enjoying. That's a different psychology than just focusing on making the next play. So we have to develop this self-regulation that allows me to go for mistake to mistake to mistake without losing enthusiasm. Then I start getting this strong self efficacy belief, which means the self mastery, self control. And when I'm moving towards a goal, I am going to stick with it because I have more patience and confidence that it's going to work out.
