i was always very close with my mother, which i think is common among jewish families. My mam leaned on me probably a little too much as a child emotionally. The fact that i still kind of have this like bond with my mam has made it difficult for me to bond with other women. It's not because you had kno bad intentioned parents. But what that causes is, on a very subconscious level, that intimacy is going to equal a pressure, control and responsibility. And so when some one gets a little bit too close, it's not that you can't be in a relationship. We've seen that before with people who tend to ver more avoid ant.
