Is There a Balance Between the Classes?

Crawl has tried to make it a lot more balanced than most other games, so that there's no obvious choices. But giving the player optonce is not a bad thing in my opinion. Windfield monstrers are far too prevailant in rogue like monsters and all they do is come up to you and hit you. You need more than just resource balancing to make short games interesting. It doesn't really offer many interesting decisions or behaviour that doesn't have an interesting way of consuming hp. And if one of those elements is boring monster coming and simply consuming yourhp, i mean this game isn't particularly fun. Ias otherwise  naitian an naitian gamg
